I had the pleasure of getting to see Michael Rosen talking about his new book this evening in Chester – Michael’s poetry and writing was a huge inspiration to me when I was younger and definitely fed into my love for words and for poetry – something that I still do to this day.
During the talk he talked about pebbles, and how he writes pretty much every day, sometimes in such small size as pebbles, but that over time the pebbles take up a space and become a beach.
I’ve recently hit a little brick wall of creativity, there is a reason behind this which I’m not yet ready to talk about publicly but this idea of small creations really stuck with me and inspired me (again) to write this post, my first pebble.
